The NEOMED Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) will hold a public forum on Wednesday, Jan. 29. This will be a chance for the NEOMED animal user community to hear directly from the IACUC and communicate questions and concerns directly to the committee. Light refreshments will be provided. Specific topics we will discuss include issues concerned with:
- Rodent weaning
- Expired drug policy
- Addition of personnel to existing protocols
- Protocol / Amendment review (consistency)
- Upcoming AAALAC site visit
The IACUC is open to any suggestions from the community about other topics we should include. To that end, we have built a survey where interested parties can anonymously submit questions and comments to the committee. The survey will can be found at forms.gle/GvJeeN41zmjfW54o9. The survey will be open until Friday, Jan. 24.
