Info Session for New Innovation Programs, Sept. 28

Do you have an idea on how to improve a procedure or enhance patient satisfaction? Are you interested in improving health care outcomes through innovation? Do you want to learn how startup companies develop and commercialize new medical technology?

NEOMED is launching two new programs this fall to support faculty, students and health professionals who are interested in improving health care through innovation: NEOvations Bench to Bedside and NSF I-CORPS Sites.

NSF I-CORPS Sites

In partnership with University of Utah's Center for Medical Innovation, NEOMED faculty, clinical partners, and students will be part of a project team to determine the commercial potential of new medical innovations developed by University researchers and clinicians.

NEOvations Bench to Bedside

An exciting and vibrant 7-month program that brings students, medical professionals, industry experts, investors and others. Students will form interdisciplinary teams in the fields of health, business, engineering and law to complete the bench to bedside process. Students will receive support from professionals while gaining experience in accelerating new technologies from concept to commercialization.
