Intent, Design and Generalizability: Defining Human Subjects Research, Sept. 28

Human subject research is not always easily defined and simply collecting data from a “human” does not necessarily define a project as research.  Please join Julie Aultman, Ph.D., Chair of the NEOMED IRB, Christine Crish, Ph.D., Vice-Chair, and others for an informative discussion of this issue.  This presentation will include topics such as understanding the intent of your project, applying the definition of “generalizability”, developing a sound research design, and understand your responsibilities as a Principal Investigator.
