Jewish Patients and Judaism: 613 Things to Know will be held on Oct. 24 from noon - 1 p.m. in room F-118.
Judaism has several movements/levels of practice such as Reform, Conservative and Orthodox, and within some of these movements there are also different sects, beliefs and traditions. This lunch and learn will address how does the difference in the Jewish culture and Judaism impact the delivery of health care services, as well as address Jewish culture in general.
The Embracing Diversity Series at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) brings attention to and focus on competencies around various diverse topics and cultural issues. Through lectures, panel discussions and programs, we aim to educate and enlighten students, faculty, staff and the community. Please join us as we embrace our similarities and our differences, and recognize and celebrate our diversity.
As we celebrate the diversity that stands within the NEOMED community, please use the #IamDiversityNEOMED on all social media channels when attending events in the Embracing Diversity Series.
