Josie Pophal Memorial Dodgeball Tournament, April 14

Scientista, the Oncology Interest Group, and the American Medical Association are proud to host the Josie Pophal Dodgeball Tournament!

Josie Pophal, mother of medical student Charles Pophal, passed away on July 17, 2017 after a long and difficult battle with stomach cancer. In honor of her devotion to women pursuing STEM education, the Pophal family set up a scholarship with Notre Dame College that will provide funds for dedicated female students pursuing degrees in mathematics and engineering.

To raise funds for the scholarship, Scientista, OIG, and AMA will be hosting a dodgeball tournament:

WHEN: Sunday, April 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Sequoia Wellness

Registration is $10 per person (plus $2.61 processing fee). Teams are limited to six people per team. All teams must sign a liability and waiver form that will be provided the day of the tournament.

All teams have a chance to win prizes! Concessions and t-shirts will be available to purchase at the tournament.
