Josie Pophal Memorial Dodgeball Tournament, April 22

Scientista and the Oncology Interest Group are proud to host the Josie Pophal Dodgeball Tournament!

Josie Pophal, mother of medical student Charles Pophal, passed away on July 17, 2017 after a long and difficult battle with stomach cancer. In honor of her devotion to women pursuing STEM degrees, the Pophal family set up a scholarship with Notre Dame College that will provide funds for dedicated female students pursuing degrees in mathematics and engineering. To raise funds for the scholarship, Scientista and OIG are hosting a dodgeball tournament.

WHERE: Sequoia Wellness Center

WHEN: Sunday, April 22, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Register for the tournament March 19 – April 2 in NEW Center Atrium or register online! Registration is $10 per person and includes a free t-shirt! Only 6 people per team. All teams have a chance to win prizes! Team members must sign a waiver to participate. Concessions will be available to purchase at the tournament.

All funds will go to the Josie Pophal Scholarship Fund.
