Leroy Rodgers Preceptorship Program
First-year medical students in the Class of 2029 are invited to apply for the OAFP Foundation’s Leroy A. Rodgers, M.D., Preceptorship Program from the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
This unique, hands-on experience gives medical students a front-row seat to the breadth, impact and everyday excitement of family medicine. Over a four-week summer rotation between the first and second year, participants work directly with one or more practicing family physicians, seeing real patients, exploring diverse practice settings and discovering whether family medicine could be the right fit.
