The NEOMED Library provides direct access to roughly 200,000 e-books, over 30,000 e-journals (containing upwards of 30 million unique articles), and a unique collection of several thousand print resources. We can also request books to be shipped for on-campus pick-up from a state-wide collection of over 50 million print resources. We realize that this vast collection can be difficult at times to navigate, and this session is designed to help users gain an understanding of what they have access to at NEOMED. Participants will learn about subject-specific databases, clinical decision support resources, and online textbook collections, as well as how to access e-resources from off-campus, how to request items when they are not available, and how to search across all of our resources from a single search feature.
WHEN: Thursday, March 12 from noon to 1 p.m.
WHERE: Read Distance Education Center (RDEC)
