Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) will be hosting its annual Lunar New Year (Year of the Ox) event on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom (link below)! The Lunar New Year event will feature live story-telling performances (inspired by the Moth Podcast) about Lunar New Year or Asian Heritage, lantern making, Kahoot! Lunar New Year Trivia, Mahjong, and more. There will be prizes for the Kahoot trivia winners, including a rice cooker, woks, Chinese yo-yo's, boba tea kits, Thai meal kits (in honor of Thailand recognizing Lunar New Year as an official holiday this year) and gift cards! Everyone will get a prize! Supplies for the crafts can be picked-up at Student Services next week from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in their office.
Also if you need a Supply/Goody Bag at school sign-up for a pick-up time. Please pick-up the bag in the first 10 minutes of your appointment in order to allow for a 5-minute clean-up before the next person comes)
