MEDCAMP 2024 will be held July 11-13

A group of first-, second- and third-year undergraduate students will gather July 11-13 for the MEDCAMP 2024 program. Through activities located on the NEOMED campus, MEDCAMP is provides hands-on experiences in biomedical science workshops involving research, clinical problem-solving and an introduction to the fields of clinical medicine.

Participants join physicians, NEOMED medicine students, faculty and researchers in performing applied activities, where they learn:

  • how a physician talks with a patient,
  • how to study the clues to a patient’s illness,
  • how to solve medical cases by using critical thinking skills in addition
  • how to apply modern laboratory techniques, and
  • how to diagnose a case with a fictitious patient.

On Saturday, July 13, participants present their findings through grand rounds to family, friends and peers.
