The 4th annual Sequoia Wellness 5K and Family Fun Run is proud to announce that we have renamed the Race “Miles for Meals” and have designated the Ben Curtis Family Foundation as the new beneficiary of race net proceeds. This year’s race will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. The Ben Curtis Family Foundation is the well-known, Portage County based devotion of Ben Curtis, 2003 British Open Champion and wife Candace. The main goal of The Ben Curtis Family Foundation is to help alleviate childhood hunger. “Miles for Meals” is a combo race for running and fitness enthusiasts held on the beautiful campus of NEOMED in Rootstown, Ohio.
