Native American Celebration, Nov. 1

Come learn and celebrate Native American history during November, National American Indian Heritage Month. Experience the drums, dances, regalia, food, and other artifacts that give insight to America’s indigenous people. Dancing has been a vital piece of Native American tradition throughout their history, ranging from ceremonial purposes to simple amusement. We’ll have crafts to learn about the significance of the Four-Directions and sacredness of Sage Prayer Ties, as well as all of the symbolism that is tied into their creation.
