Problem Gambling Screening Day, March 9

Please join the Center for Student Wellness and Counseling as we host Townhall II at noon, Wednesday, March 9 in the atrium near Watanakunakorn Auditorium.

Dr. Amanda Burke from Townhall II will provide problem-gambling screening, information and giveaways. You'll also have a chance to complete a screening for a $5 Amazon gift card.

Can't make it Wednesday? Complete a problem-gambling training before March 31 and receive a $10 Amazon gift card. You will be asked to enter your name and optional nickname. First name is sufficient. Contact sorwick@neomed.edu for any questions.

The National Council on Problem Gambling designates March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month. March Madness, the annual NCAA basketball tournament that sees over $8 billion wagered on its games, is the backdrop that council and its partners across the country leverage to help raise awareness and create action for those suffering from gambling problems.

Contacts to the National Problem Gambling Helpline typically spike during March.
