Professional Development: An Emphasis on Interprofessional Education, May 25

The College of Pharmacy's Office of Education invites everyone to register to attend "Professional Development: An Emphasis on Interprofessional Education" on Wednesday, May 25 from noon to 4 p.m. in Cook Hall.

Speakers will present on the latest in digital health technology and the importance of interprofessional education.

Presentations/speakers include:

  • "Shifting Landscapes of Technology and the Future of Healthcare" by Ravi Patel, Pharm.D., Lead Innovation Advisor, School of Pharmacy, University of Pittsburgh
  • "Interdisciplinary Team Building" by Sonia Alemagno, Ph.D., Dean and Professor, College of Public Health, Kent State University
  • "Interpersonal Effectiveness" by Stephanie Orwick, MEd, LPCC-S, Assistant Director, Center for Wellness & Counseling Services, NEOMED
  • "Assessment of Interprofessional Education" by a panel from Cleveland State University, NEOMED and the University of Akron
