We share in the deep sadness at the passing of D. Gary Benfield, M.D., former clinical faculty member at NEOMED. Dr. Benfield spent over three decades at Akron Children's Hospital, where he led the growth of neonatal service to include a staff that would provide state-of-the-art care to the Northeast Ohio region.
