George Mackey, AV technology specialist in the Office of Academic Technology, is retiring July 31 after 20 years of service. George played a major role introducing AV technology automation in our lecture halls and teaching labs. He also assisted with ushering in the lecture capture recording system and HD technology throughout the campus. Behind the scenes, George’s electronics skills kept technology issues and delays to a minimum in the lectures halls. His expertise and camaraderie will be missed.
