Seminar: 'A Predictive Internet-Based Model for COVID-19 Hospitalization Census' | May 2

Dr. Philip Turk, the director of NEOMED's Institute for Clinical Research, will present "A Predictive Internet-Based Model for COVID-19 Hospitalization Census” at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2, in Olson Auditorium.

His talk will cover his work to develop a new model for the number of COVID-19 patients based on real-time Google search term activity and health care chatbot scores. The talk will be retrospective in part and will also show how the model can be a new and valuable tool for infectious disease surveillance.
