Student Leadership Conference at the University of Akron, Feb. 24

Attention NEOMED Student Organization Leaders!

The Department of Student Life at the University of Akron is sponsoring the 5th annual E.D.G.E. Leadership Conference on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018. The conference is open to University of Akron students as well as students from area institutions. Online registration for students is now available and will close on Feb. 9. The registration cost is $15.00, but presenters can attend for free!

Presentation submission, attendee registration and additional information can be found online. 

Program proposals must be submitted by Jan. 19. This is a great opportunity for professionals or graduate students to share your knowledge and add to your resume.
What to know as a possible presenter:
• You are encouraged to offer an interactive presentation. Both personal reflection and group activities are encouraged.
• Sessions should be geared towards a 45-minute session block for emerging, maturing, and developed leaders.
• Please be as descriptive as possible in the "ideal room set-up" section of the form. While our Student Union facility offers a variety of room set-ups, we are limited based on room capacity.
• All rooms will be equipped with A/V, laptop, sound, a white board, and podium.
