The Crown Joules: Energetics, Ecology, and Evolution in Humans and other Primates, April 6

On Thursday, April 6 the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology will host Dr. Herman Pontzer, an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at Hunter College. Dr. Pontzer’s research focuses on the evolution of energy metabolism in humans and other primates.  His work has been featured in many popular media outlets, including the New York Times, NPR, and most recently on the cover of Scientific American. Dr. Pontzer’s presentation, “The Crown Joules: Energetics, Ecology, and Evolution in Humans and other Primates” will take place in room F-118 at 4 p.m. on April 6.
