THE HEALER’S ART RETREAT WORKSHOP - AWAKENING THE HEART OF SERVICE
The Healer’s Art course offers a safe and respectful learning environment in which health care providers explore, in-depth, their personal relationship to service, compassion, healing, loss, holism, lineage, courage, mystery and awe – vital dimensions of health care rarely discussed in their training. The curriculum will enable learners to uncover and strengthen the altruistic values, sense of calling and intention to serve that have led them to the health care profession and creating a firm foundation for meeting the challenging demands of current health care practice.
A course will be held Friday through Sunday, April 28 - 30, 2023, at Salt Fork Lodge.
Learners will be encouraged to join Finding Meaning in Medicine/Nursing groups for ongoing exploration and support, as well as other support groups focused on mental health issues.
