NEOMED hosts V-Week annually to educate the faculty and student body about such topics such as women's health and domestic violence. One of the largest elements of V-Week is a play known as A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer by Eve Ensler, an award-winning playwright and one of the founders of the nationally renowned V-Day. The play has brought together countless women throughout the nation and allowed them to fully embrace their bodies and their lives. Furthermore, this play gives a voice to a delicate topic that carries a stigma throughout society, allowing kept feelings and insecurities to be expressed.
An invitation is extended to anyone who leads their life as a women and would like to audition for a part in the cast of this production. Audition dates will be determined soon and the performance will be held during V-Week in February. The audition process will be very informal.
