The Vision Research Scientific Forum will be held on Nov. 17 in Cook Alumni Hall from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The forum will feature recipients of the Prevent Blindness 2017 Young Investigator Student Fellow Awards for Female Scholars in Vision Research.
Speakers include:
Emily Plyler: Emily is a Kent State University student who conducted research related to Alzheimer’s disease and glaucoma at NEOMED.
Lindsay Perusek: Laura is an Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine student who conducted AMD research with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Keynote Speaker: Denise M. Inman, Ph.D., NEOMED, Assistant Professor, Director, Integrated Pharmaceutical Medicine Program
