Volunteer for Make a Difference Day, Oct. 27

Dear NEOMED Community,

Volunteering is a way to inspire, recognize and encourage people to seek out ways to engage with a greater cause. In an effort to give back to our local communities, NEOMED is participating in Make a Difference Day on October 27, 2018. Students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of community service projects during the day throughout Northeast Ohio.

Make a Difference Day is a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors started by USA WEEKEND Magazine, in collaboration with Points of Light, more than 20 years ago. Millions of volunteers from across the nation will unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others. Participating sites include the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, and Habitat for Humanity of Portage County, Hattie Larlham, the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, and HandsOn Northeast Ohio.

If you are interested in volunteering, RSVP  before October 20 at 5 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there!
