Volunteer opportunity: High school health careers field trip

Sign up to volunteer and help introduce high school students to what it’s like being a medical student. This interactive field trip, hosted by AHEC, VHHS, and IMIG, will provide students with hands-on exposure to health careers through small-group learning stations.

Volunteer roles include teaching and facilitating stations such as:

• CPR and intubation
• Medical interviewing skills
• Gross anatomy lab

We are seeking volunteers for each station. This opportunity may be listed on your CV as a teaching or educational outreach role. Additionally, for those interested in joining VHHS, participation in this event is a strong activity to include in your VHHS application.

Date: Monday, February 2, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
