Academic Technology is pleased to welcome Michael Wright, M.Ed., our new senior instructional technologist. A graduate of Malone College and former English and Computer Science Instructor at Jackson School system, Wright holds a Masters in Instructional Technology from the University of Akron, and has a broad background and depth of knowledge in many learning technologies.
Wright will serve as lead for TurningPoint Technologies, academic video projects, and will also be involved in AIMS projects, academic website development and provide workshops to faculty and staff using multimedia and emerging technologies.
Academic Technology also welcomes Terri Miller as our instructional technologist. She comes to AT after serving as a desktop support specialist in NEOMED's IT department. Miller will be providing support for our learning technology applications, and will serve as an additional contact for our learning management system, AIMS and provide one-on-one instruction. Terri served in the military for several years as a Russian cryptologist and she has extensive experience with technology applications and support. Prior to coming to NEOMED, Miller provided support and training at the University of Akron for their learning management system other campus applications.
