Effective Thursday, March 17, all sliding doors in the NEW Center will be on a locking and unlocking schedule that aligns with the operational hours of Sequoia Wellness:
- Monday-Thursday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The building will remain accessible to students and employees with NEOMED badge access until midnight, seven days a week.
To access the building after the exterior sliding doors have locked, entry can be made via the interior doors that connect NEOMED to the NEW Center or via the exterior key card door located off the NEW Center patio on the west side of the building.
If you are accessing the NEW Center by walking through the door near Admissions and passing through the Reception area, you will be able to enter the NEW Center until 8 p.m. without swiping your badge. A badge is always required to re-enter the campus through the door near Admissions. After p.m., a NEOMED badge will be required to enter the NEW Center through the Reception doors.
