The Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP) is partnering with Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank to bring hope, relief and security to our neighbors struggling with hunger.
From April 1-29, students and faculty from NEOMED will help the Akron-Canton Food Bank meet more of the growing need in our community.
Here’s how to help:
Donate food: Drop off food donations in bins located throughout NEOMED.
Please consider the most needed foods: Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup), 100% Fruit Juices,Tuna/Canned Meat, Peanut Butter, Low Sugar Cereals Canned Fruits and Vegetables
Donate funds: Visit www.akroncantonfoodbank.org to make a donation and see how Akron-Food Bank can stretch your dollar.
Our goal is for each student/faculty to donate at least one can (and more if you can!)
The food bins are located by the Sequoia Wellness Center, the NEW auditorium and Liebelt.
