AMA Talent Show Raises Funds for Women’s Shelter

The 2019 American Medical Association Talent Show, held Friday, April 26, in Cook Alumni Hall, raised over $700 for ACCESS, Inc., a women's shelter in Akron, Ohio.

Thanks to our NEOMED students, staff and faculty, everyone was able to enjoy wonderful performances filled with music, comedy and dance during the Hawaiian-themed event.

This year’s AMA Talent Show winners:

People’s Choice: Varun Aitharaja and Meghana Chalasani — hip hop/Bollywood fusion dance

Judges’ Choice: Zi-Yang Liew — vocal and piano performance

— Submitted by Jinsoo Lee, a first-year College of Medicine student.
