For the past 23 years, the Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio has awarded a scholarship of $1,000 to a fourth or fifth year medical student of (Asian) Indian origin. The award is based on academic merit (grade point average, MCAT, USMLE, publications, research), extracurricular achievements (sports, music, drama, other hobbies and talents), and community service.
The selected medical student is awarded the scholarship check at the time of AIPNO’s Chiraag, Annual Dinner and Research Showcase, which will be held on November 9, 2019 at Executive Caterers of Landerhaven, 6111 Landerhaven Dr., Mayfield Hts., 44124. The selected student is provided complimentary registration to attend the dinner.
To apply for this scholarship we will require cover letter, C.V., including USMLEs, MCATs, and GPA, attendance at the event is mandatory for acceptance of the scholarship.
