Audition for the Vagina Monologues!

As many of you know, V-Week is soon approaching. One of the largest parts of V-Week this year is a play known as The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler, an award-winning playwright and one of the founders of the nationally renowned V-Day.

The Vagina Monologues has brought together countless women throughout the nation and allowed them to fully embrace their bodies and their lives. Furthermore, this play gives a voice to a delicate topic that carries a stigma throughout society, allowing kept feelings and insecurities to be expressed.

I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who leads their life as a woman to audition for a part in the cast of this production. Absolutely no acting experience is necessary, so this is open to anyone willing to participate! Auditions will be held in early January (details TBD) and the play will be performed during V-Week on February 17. The audition process will be very informal, so please do not hesitate to participate in this meaningful experience!

If you are interested in auditioning for The Vagina Monologues, please fill out this form. If you would like the opportunity to read over the script during break and pick your monologue, please let me know on this form as well and I can send it to you!

Please contact Pallavi Sharma (psharma1@neomed.edu) with any questions/concerns!
