Barry R. and Maria R. Schimer Scholarship

The Barry R. and Maria R. Schimer Scholarship fund was created to provide tuition relief to NEOMED students who have a stated interest in serving underserved rural communities in Ohio. The $500 award will be given to one student in the current 2020‐2021 academic year.
Eligibility requirements:
• College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy students who have a stated interest in
serving underserved rural communities in Ohio.
Application requirements:
• CV; and
• Essay describing your interest in serving underserved rural communities in Ohio; not to exceed one page.
This scholarship will be applied to the recipients' current, 2020-2021 academic year. Please don't hesitate to reach out to the Office of Financial Aid with any questions: finaid@neomed.edu.
