The second week of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month will focus on steps that we, as individuals, as well as organizations can take to protect internet-connected devices for both personal and professional use. 2020 has seen a major disruption in the way we work, learn, and socialize, driving all our activities online more than ever. Our homes, schools, and businesses are now more connected than they have ever been, introducing a whole new set of potential vulnerabilities that we must be aware of and address to Protect It and #BeCyberSmart.
Throughout this week on The Pulse, we will highlight the ways in which we create strong passwords for our home and work accounts, how to secure our personal devices, and how to research and assess your digital profile.
