Bio-Med Science Academy recently hosted an Emergency Responders Career Day, as an opportunity for local first responders, including officers from NEOMED’s Police Department and the Rootstown Fire Department, to interact with high school students.
“We explain to the students the steps taken to get into the law enforcement field; challenges of the career; what we love about it; and what we do on a daily basis. We enjoy the positive interactions with the students as well as the educational component of this program,” explains Kali Meonske, NEOMED chief of police and director of public safety.
