Michael Forbes, M.D, professor of pediatrics at NEOMED, is a very thoughtful and bright pediatric critical care doctor who is adored by his co-workers, staff and families. He is an accomplished researcher and mentors many of our trainees and junior faculty. He also is a natural leader who currently serves as medical staff president and as of January 1, assumed the role of interim chair of pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital. He is among the most honest, earnest and humble individuals I have had the pleasure to work with.
