Buckeyes Without Borders Medical Brigade Opportunity

Buckeyes Without Borders, a student organization at The Ohio State University, is looking for attending and resident physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to accompany a group of medical, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy students and social workers on an upcoming medical brigade, Mission Santa Lucía, in Honduras from March 11-19, 2017. They would love to have you join them on this trip to provide basic medical care to hundreds of patients who lack access to adequate healthcare in rural Honduras, teach Ohio State students through a unique and valuable opportunity, and learn more about international medicine and Central American culture. They are working with Shoulder to Shoulder, an NGO that started at the University of Cincinnati Department of Family Medicine and has 25 years experience working with medical schools across the States to set up medical brigades to provide care to over 69,000 residents of Intibucá, Honduras.

If you are interested, please contact them at buckeyeswithoutbordersosu@gmail.com or contact Joyce, Ohio State student at zhang.1177@osu.edu.
