The application period is now open for the 2017 Fellowship in Academic Medicine (FAME) program. This fellowship program provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills that will better prepare clinical faculty for careers in academic and community teaching settings.
WHEN: All Classes will be held January through November on designated days based on the track selected from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: NEOMED, Rootstown Campus
WHAT: The FAME program embraces an evolving curriculum design approach. Each session will include a journal club, skills building workshops, group activities and project time. Each cohort will experience a curriculum that is uniquely designed and adapted to the needs of the fellows and the current health care and education environment.
The program offers two tracks; 1) Teaching and Learning, and 2) Leadership.
TUITION FEES: $3,500
CERTIFICATION: At the completion of each of the tracks fellows will receive a Fellowship Certificate from Northeast Ohio Medical University.
