Campus Storm Damage

On Saturday, June 1, a storm passed through Rootstown that caused a significant amount of damage to a range of equipment and systems across the NEOMED campus. Systems and equipment impacted include the fire alarm system in buildings 1 and 3 of The Village, the access control system campus-wide, and parking lot lighting at The Village.

The Departments of Campus Operations and Public Safety, as well as Signet Management have all been working diligently with maintenance personnel as well as various vendors to get repairs made as quickly as possible.

A fire watch was put into place in the affected Village buildings as soon as it was discovered that the fire alarm system was not operating correctly.

We appreciate your patience while we work to repair these issues.
