Casino Night Finds Success

Thank you to everyone who supported the SOAR Student-Run Free Clinic and OutReach through our Casino Night fundraiser! Our event could not have been such a great success without the support, attendance, donations and volunteerism from students, faculty, local businesses and community members.

We celebrated the impact our clinic volunteers have on the community and informed our guests of the costs to sponsor each patient and clinic day. Our Casino Night fundraiser welcomed over 200 attendees and raised more than $14,000!

This year’s theme was “Roarin’ 20’s”. We enjoyed seeing guests in their costumes and had many creative entries in our costume contest. Our event featured saxophone player Ryan Zubricky (a first-year College of Medicine student) and singer Alexis El-Khouri (a first year College of Pharmacy student), who entertained while guests played Texas hold’em, blackjack, and roulette or tried their luck at the money wheel.
