Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services Hours

Students, winter is in full swing!

Snow is coming, we just don't know how much!

The Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services (CSWCS) would like to remind students that we are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed evenings, weekends, holidays and during official University closures. If you urgently need to speak with a counselor after regular office hours, call 330.325.6757 and follow the prompts. Please allow 15 minutes for a counselor to return your call.

If the University is on a delay or closed due to inclement weather, no NEOMED student counseling/crisis phone lines will be attended, but help is still available for those with a mental health emergency or who require counseling support. Contact the following local mental health support centers or crisis hotline numbers:

  • Coleman Professional Services at 330-296-3555
  • National Suicide Hotline 800.273.8255, or
  • the crisis text line at 741-741.
  • If you are experiencing a medical, life-threatening emergency call 911.

The counseling staff will reach out to individual students by email and make every effort to get them rescheduled in a timely manner.

Please contact us at counseling@neomed.edu if you have any questions.

Stay safe as you navigate the winter weather:
