COM Office of Medical Education Welcomes New Team Members

The College of Medicine’s (COM) Office of Medical Education is pleased to welcome several new team members to the curriculum operations team. 

Nicholas DiAntonio has joined COM as a curriculum coordinator for the M2 curriculum. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a master’s degree in higher education administration and student affairs. Nick gained experience as an intern at NEOMED before beginning his career in higher education at Walsh University as an academic advisor. 

Deb Edwards has joined COM as a curriculum coordinator for M3 clerkships and M4 electives. Deb is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a graduate of Tiffin University with a master’s degree in higher education administration. She began her career in higher education at the University of Mount Union in the business office and was promoted to manager of campus card and facilities scheduling while working in student affairs. 

Stephanie Thompson, M.S. M.Ed., is a curriculum administrative specialist providing high-level support to the COM medical education deans as well as the curriculum committee and subcommittees.  Stephanie is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine with a master’s degree in medical education and has a bachelor’s degree in integrated health studies – health care administration from Kent State University.  Stephanie comes to NEOMED with extensive experience with our partner hospitals. Most recently, she held a residency program coordinator position at Western Reserve Hospital.  Prior to that, she was a physician services assistant with Akron Children’s Hospital and has experience with the Cleveland Clinic as a department coordinator.
