Congratulations Lindsey Loftus, Olson/Blair Award Recipient

Lindsey Loftus, senior development officer, was awarded the Olson/Blair Award for Administrative Excellence at the annual Employee Recognition Luncheon, Feb. 26, 2016.

Each year the award honors a faculty or staff member within the NEOMED community who has a senior administrative appointment in an academic or service area. The award is given in recognition for outstanding administrative leadership through demonstrated initiative and innovative techniques including the ability to motivate and supervise, make critical judgments and contribute to the betterment of the University.

Lindsey has been a member of the NEOMED community for 10 years and is an outstanding advocate for NEOMED. He plays a critical role in fundraising and friendraising to support University initiatives. Lindsey not only raises funds to advance students, innovation and research, and community health, but he also builds strong personal relationships with everyone he meets and works diligently to improve our operations. A skilled teacher and mentor to others, Lindsey proves to be a strong NEOMED ambassador both on and off campus.

Lindsey was unable to attend the luncheon to receive his award so his reaction to receiving the award was captured on camera and played for those in attendance. Watch his reaction below and congratulate Lindsey on his well-deserved honor the next time you see him.
