Connect NEO: A Student-Led Donation Initiative

Do you have old laptops, phones or tablets that you don’t know what to do with? If so, consider donating them to Connect NEO!

Connect NEO is a student-led initiative advised by Mariquita Belen, M.D., assistant professor of family and community medicine. Our goal is to identify donors (you) who have unused but working communication/information technology devices and connect you with individuals in Northeast Ohio who need them.

With COVID-19 causing shifts to remote work, health care and education, the need for technology has never been greater. However, in our area of Northeast Ohio many people still lack access to modern devices capable of these tasks.

You can help! The average American household has at least one unused, still functioning, communication technology device.

To donate a device, please answer a few questions.

Then, just sit tight and someone from our team will reach out to you about next steps. This link will continue to stay active too, so if you want to donate your old technology at a later date, please fill out the same form and someone will be in touch.

Note: Questions regarding tax deductions related to donations should be directed to a tax professional. Learn more about other ways to donate to NEOMED.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!
