Michael Kempe and Jim Johnson from Financial Aid utilized the Lean Six Sigma tools to improve the Need-Based Parental Waiver Qualification process. The outcomes they hope to achieve include a significant increase in the number of students eligible for scholarships and a reduction in staff time to support the process.
Several other teams and individuals have been working to implement the tools offered by the Lean Six Sigma program in a way that will create a more efficient NEOMED community.
