With just one day remaining until the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Ceremony, check out what this one person was able to achieve in their project!
Anatomy and Neurobiology's Aaron Mrvelj used LEAN Six Sigma to identify an abundance of waste in the preparation and cleaning of the MDL Neurobiology teaching laboratory. With the help of the LSS tools, he will use his analysis and improvements to greatly reduce the amount of time spent and spaced used to complete the process.
Several other teams and individuals have been working to implement the tools offered by the Lean Six Sigma program in a way that will create a more efficient NEOMED community. To learn more about the other projects, and how they might create positive change in your area, please join us for the Yellow Belt Certification Ceremony from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16. Please reach out to LSS@neomed.edu for more information.
