Dale English Farewell Reception Tomorrow

After nine years of service to the College of Pharmacy, Dale English II, B.S.Pharm., Pharm.D., R.Ph., FASHP, will begin the new year as associate dean for Student Affairs at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy in Louisville, KY. A reception to recognize his contributions is scheduled for Thursday, December 15 from 3:30-4:30 p.m., in lobby outside Watanakunakorn Auditorium.

As associate dean of student success and associate professor of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences at NEOMED, Dale has made valuable contributions to the College. He was instrumental in advancing our underserved pipeline programs – Pathways to Pharmacy Program (Rootstown-based and Cleveland). He helped to advance student organizations and philanthropy by helping to raise scholarship funds through the Annual College of Pharmacy Golf Classic. Dale has been a pivotal leader in advocating for the profession of pharmacy on national, state and local levels to which he extended to our students through the creation of a Legislative Day.

As a tremendous leader for our student pharmacists, Dale’s efforts have shined through the recognition given by our students who have awarded him as Most Influential Faculty Member in 2012, P1 Teacher of the Year in 2013 and honored as a hooder in 2012, 2013 and 2016.

Please join me in thanking Dale for his service as a member of the leadership team for the College of Pharmacy.

Charles Taylor, Pharm.D.
Dean, College of Pharmacy
