Department of Education releases new Title IX regulations

On May 6, 2020, the U.S. Department of Education released new regulations under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Thousands of colleges, universities and school districts across the country are required to comply with these new regulations by August 14, 2020.

Accordingly, in the coming months, there will be changes to NEOMED’s Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Policy, as well as the grievance procedures for filing a complaint of sex discrimination. The NEOMED community will be notified when the policy and procedures are revised. As always, the most up-to-date policy information can be found on the Policy Portal.
