Dori Parker Appointed Business Process Analyst

The Department of Business Strategy, Innovation and Purchasing (“BSIP”) is delighted to announce that Dori Parker has accepted the newly created position of Business Process Analyst, effective Monday, Oct. 2, 2017.

In this role, Dori will support educational efforts across the University on purchasing polices and how to utilize available procurement contracts, conduct spend analysis to determine NEOMED’s contract utilization and assist with the re-engineering of internal processes through Lean/KAIZEN initiatives. She will also assist with the University’s risk management program, act as Purchasing Card administrator and coordinate with the Director of BSIP to carry out initiatives from the Business Strategy & Innovation Committee. Dori will report to Jonathan Wagner, Director of Business Strategy, Innovation and Purchasing.

Dori has been working in NEOMED’s Campus Operations since 2008 as a Receiving and Distribution Analyst. Through her experience in Campus Operations, she found a passion and propensity for process improvement. She has participated in NEOMED’s past Kaizen events and has taken those philosophies back to Campus Operations where she was able to resolve tracking system issues by developing a digital program for tracking NEOMED’s internal packages. Dori also volunteers within her community, gaining knowledge in project management, negotiation and resource procurement, by serving as a Board of Directors member for Limitless Ambition, a non-profit that provides resources, training and support to young girls and women in pursuit of becoming leaders.

Dori can be reached at dparker2@neomed.edu or in room G-227, within the Accounting suite.

Please join us in congratulating Dori on her new role within the University.
