Our Demand Response vendor has scheduled a mandatory one hour electricity load reduction Tuesday, July 17 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Air handlers in buildings A, B, G, R, Regula Conference Center, Wasson, RGE offices, D and E offices will be shut down from 3:55-5:05 p.m. Signet is scheduling similar reductions in the NEW Center. Research areas should be unaffected, though we ask any power demands be reduced where possible during the designated time period.
Any campus staff, faculty, and students that can reduce lighting and phantom power during the 4:00-5:00 p.m. time frame would be greatly appreciated.
Campus Operations believes that the short time frame for the reduction will scarcely affect room comfort in most areas of the campus. However, your compliance and patience is greatly appreciated.
