Faculty & Staff needed for Student Business Etiquette Dinner

Nothing will prepare our students for their professional life like attending the annual NEOMED Business Etiquette Dinner and Professional Fashion Show. Whether they need help preparing for a successful interview, learning fine dining etiquette or mastering their networking skills, they can learn them at the Business Etiquette Dinner and Professional Fashion Show.

The Office of Student Affairs is looking for faculty and staff to attend the event and sit and mingle with the students during dinner. This is a great opportunity for our students to network as it will allow them to talk with NEOMED staff and clinical faculty about proper dinner conversation topics. If you would like to attend the event, please register online here by November 11. Your meal will be FREE at no charge.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 16 from 6-9 p.m.

WHERE: NEW Center Ballroom

RSVP today!

Carla Owens, Associate Director of Career Services at Kent State University will serve as the Etiquette Coach for the evening, accompanied by Deborah Okey, Associate General Counsel at Goodyear and NEOMED Foundation Board member. During the event, Carla will take you through the four-course dinner, step by step. After dinner, NEOMED students will serve as models for the professional fashion show showing you the do’s and don’ts of professional attire.

The event is sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs and NEOMED student organizations Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS), and American Medical Association (AMA).
