We regretfully announce that Rienne Johnson will be leaving NEOMED effective March 18, 2016. Rienne has accepted a position as a librarian with a medical evidence firm called, Dr. Evidence.
Rienne began working at OORMIC in August of 2010 as a Reference Librarian. Since that time, Rienne has greatly expanded and revised the copyright program, was appointed to the faculty in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, and was involved with the Northeast Ohio Network (NEON) since her arrival. She was active in visiting classrooms and teaching in the College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, and the College of Graduate Studies. Rienne has completed a large amount of information and article searches for faculty, students, and staff across campus to assist in research, writing, and grant proposals.
We appreciate Rienne’s dedication to the staff, faculty, and students of NEOMED and its affiliated hospitals. Although we will miss her knowledge and commitment to her position as a librarian and teacher, we wish her luck in her new endeavor. Please join us on Wednesday March 16, 2015 from 9:30 until 10:30 to say good-bye. Light refreshments will be served.
